Shoppers and visitors to Kilmarnock Town Centre will be able to enjoy the benefits of free off street parking every Saturday, as the Council’s free parking trial is set to continue until August. A specific end date has not yet been set. We will post further details when received.
Please note this is only in the council car parks and not the on street parking bays.

Free Saturday parking in council run car parks is unfair discriminatory in favour of town centre traders (big business) . and denies the same relaxation a to small traders who do their business on the secondary and tertiary peri freaks This demonstrates the mentality of East Ayrshire Council and its complete preoccupation with town centre “strategy”. The difficulties faced by the small business community and its contribution to the town gets little or no consideration. The people of Kilmarnock need to realise that town councils are meant to serve the whole community and are employed by the community to promote the welfare of us all! The answer is to become more pro-active in your local politics. Your quality of life is being dictated by these people!
